Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by Jana of That Artsy Reader Girl!
Today’s topic was a really challenging one, if I’m being honest. Trying to find book titles that describe my life for a primarily fantasy reader is a tough one, to say the least lol However, I did manage to find titles in my collection that I think represent me in a few different ways, so here they are!
Click on a cover to go to its Goodreads page!

- Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan – As I talked about in my review, this book has really great Alzheimer’s representation, for both the person who has the disease as well as the family member(s) that also have to watch their loved ones suffer. I saw myself reflected directly back at me in those moments, and I’ll forever be grateful for this book because of it.
- On the Plus Side by Jenny L. Howe – I’m a plus sized girl, plain and simple!
- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell – I’m a fangirl of many things, from books (duh), to video games, to shows, to music. Want to know about the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, now with a free trial up to level 70, playable through the game’s award winning expansion Heavensward, and Stormblood? Then I’m your gal!
- Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I’ve always – always – been fascinated with space, and so seeing so much space news happening recently has brought so much joy and wonder into my heart and life. I also love this book and will have a review up on my blog soon since I read it last year!
- Yumi and the Nightmare Painter by Brandon Sanderson – I’ve always been a creative person, and so I’ve always turned to writing and drawing as my media of choice when it comes to expressing myself. Though I’ve not done much of either in recent years, I still consider myself an artist.

- The Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong – I have many tarot and oracle decks, and though I never read professionally or publicly, I would often do many readings for myself, and occasionally others as well.
- The Witch’s Heart by Genevieve Gornichec – Following the previous one, I was practicing witchcraft for many years on and off and have gotten back into it again recently.
- Sunbringer by Hannah Kaner – I’ve often been told I bring a lot of sunshine to a space, so I figured this title was appropriate!
- Passion Project by London Sperry – I feel like any ADHD or neurospicy person can relate to this in starting a million projects at once and then never actually finishing them. We’ve all been there, right? lol
- You Will Get Through This Night by Daniel Howell – To end on a more serious note, I’ve had my fair share of depression over the decades, and I’ve always come out on the other side. I think this title is just a reminder of that (as I’m sure the contents of the book are also a good reminder of that, too).
There’s my list! I was challenging myself to pick from books I have on my shelves physically and digitally, so I found this was pretty tough. I think I did a good job, though.
Did you also struggle with this week’s prompt? I feel like I saw a lot of people mentioning that this was a tough one this week.
If you could pick one book from your list to describe yourself and recommend to me, which one would you choose? Let me know in the comments!
