Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by Jana of That Artsy Reader Girl! Today’s topic is about titles featuring ordinal numbers, which are numbers like first, second, third, hundredth, etc. According to what I found for a more specific definition:
An ordinal number is a number that indicates the position or order of something in relation to other numbers, like, first, second, third, and so on. This order or sequence may be according to the size, importance, or any chronology.
This is a very challenging prompt, but I managed to find all of these books on my shelves, physically and digitally!

- Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
- Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
- Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
- The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin
- Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven

- These Infinite Threads by Tahereh Mafi
- The Second Death of Locke by V. L. Bovalino
- The Hundredth Queen by Emily R. King
- The First Binding by R.R. Virdi
- First-Time Caller by B. K. Borison
From my understanding, “infinite” or “infinity” can be an ordinal number, as well, so I included two books that I own with it in the title.
This was a tough one! I had a whole list of other books here before realizing what I had were not ordinal numbered books, so I had to really scrounge for other ones I had in my collection, but I did it!
Let me know how you did with this week’s prompt, and what book you found the easiest in your collection that had an ordinal number!
