Well, I had a lot of fun doing both of these readathons even if I didn’t finish all of the books I set out to read. But that’s okay! I still managed to get some read and reviewed and I enjoyed the ones I did read.
Biannual Bibliothon
For this readathon I only completed one book out of the five I was hoping to get to.
Here’s what I read:
- Girl Against the Universe: Completed!
- The Unexpected Everything: 23 pages read
- Red Rising: 6% read
- The Archived: N/A
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: N/A
I didn’t have a chance to start all of the books I wanted to, but I still managed to read some books, which I enjoyed.
As for the video challenges, I completed three of the seven:
- Biannual Bibliothon Day 1: Message in a Bottle
- Biannual Bibliothon Day 2: Character Channel Takeover
- Biannual Bibliothon Day 4: Creative Book Review
The character channel takeover challenge was definitely my favorite and it sparked some creative juices. I wish I could do more videos like these ones but I don’t know exactly what I would do!
Make Me Read It
The two books that were voted for were Shadow & Bone and Lola and the Boy Next Door for this readathon.
- Shadow and Bone: Completed!
- Lola and the Boy Next Door: 59 pages read
I just ended up running out of time, unfortunately. And, like most of the country, I’ve been obsessively playing PokemonGO! so that hasn’t helped me at all.
In Conclusion
I read two books completely and read a few more that were interesting to me, and one that was hard to get into but I hope gets better. I had a lot of fun with both of these readathons and I just might join them again next time! Maybe life will be nice and let me not be as busy next time.
